Within Reach was born during a difficult season—a time when I was reminded in a very personal way that the Savior is never as far away as He may sometimes seem.
His outstretched hand is the heart of this painting. There is no place we can wander, no sorrow we can carry, and no circumstance we can find ourselves in that puts us beyond His reach. He is ever reaching toward us with gentleness, patience, and perfect love.
Sometimes we may feel that we are searching for Him, only to discover that He has been reaching for us all along.
He is closer than we think. Always within reach.
